This case is huge for a 16"x18" base drum there was 4" extra space at the top and 2" around the diameter. Sent it back and actually a 16" x2' Base drum case is a better fit Humes and Bergs cases do not seem to be uniform in design and fit. I need a 16"x16" for my floor tom and have to wonder what size to get as I'm sure a 16"x16" won't fit in som way
