Nice sounding instrument. Real warm, woody sound.Fret board is nice and smooth, not abrasive at all. Doesn't appear to be any problem with the neck.
Not loud. Being solid top, back and sides, I was hoping it would have a bit of output power, but unfortunately no. So if you're an octave mando player who's sick of getting drowned out at jam sessions, this instrument is NOT the solution to your problems. Let me know if you find it.
There was a couple of craftsmanship issues with the nut. One string was a little low on the fret board, and the two bottom G strings seemed absurdly far apart. But these problems didn't cost much to have fixed.
Overall, can't deny that I'm very happy with it.
