Got this bass after seeing one elsewhere, described as the best bass for the money. It's actually a lot better than that.THis is a full size, 46"-not 43, as stated- and 34" scale, 20 fret bass with a nice rosewood fingerboard and a good, fast maple neck.
It is a fair copy of a Fender Precision bass, but the neck is a little narrower and thinner and very comfortable. It is far lighter due to the basswood body.
It has a few slightly high frets up near the body, but nothing terrible, and I will be able to get them leveled when I put better strings on it.
Needed string height adjustment at the bridge and minor truss rod adjustment, but so has every other guitar I have ever bought.
Hardware is very good-tuners hold tune and bridge and controls work fine, and overall the quality of the wood and paint is very good, better than on some "big name" instruments I have owned.
I started playing bass in 1963. This is not the best I ever had, but it is as good as basses I have seen for 3 times the money, and I will have no problem gigging with it after new strings and very minor adjustments.
Got here very quickly and is a very good playing and good sounding instrument that seems solid and is a great deal!
