This product is the perfect starter kit. I was influenced by Lindsey Stirling to buy a violin, and although I did not get the black one like I had wanted, the blue is gorgeous. I had trouble tuning, and being a bad beginner, I did not realize that one peg was slipping because it had slid out of the holding hole, therefore not ten minutes into having it.. I broke it. Luckily the company is sending me new strings. I also had a problem with getting rosin to stay on the bow, and also being a beginner, I had left the bow tight, not knowing how lose was enough, and the hair fell off.. I just went and bought a new one, and although I am still waiting on the D str ing, I am learning how to play quickly. . Thanks
