I got this bass about five years ago when I first started Jazz band in middle school, I'm just about to graduate and its still holding together, despite having to withstand the torture of a high school band student. Just watch out for the grounding of all the internals or you'll get a wicked buzz whenever it is played and after awhile all you get is buzz, But a $20 fix and its been working like a dream.
